about

‘Global Warning/The Good Earth’ is THE TREAT’s latest album. With 30 tracks and more than 100 minutes of music, across this double album, it’s their most ambitious work to date.

Classic Rock anchor’s THE TREAT’s often varied sound and can be heard across several epic tracks, such as ‘Global warning’, ‘This Fate Of Nations’ and ‘Summer’s Joy’. The band’s love of Psychedelia continues and is more prominent on this album than ever before. You can hear it particularly on ‘This Season’s Colours’, ‘Flowers’ and ‘In The Clouds’. In amongst the Progressive Rock style lengthy pieces and soloing, there are shorter tracks, some of which have broadened out THE TREAT’s sound to incorporate free jazz, classical guitar, avant-garde and country rock.

As dense and detailed as the arrangements and production are on some tracks, others are deliberately sparse, stripped down acoustic folk songs, illustrating that THE TREAT are continuing to progress with each new release, for your listening pleasure.
